Hi, I'm Liam. I'm a lighting cameraman.

I started in broadcast television 30 years ago with Television New Zealand, in the days when news was shot on film. Working for TVNZ gave me a good grounding in a variety of programme styles, enabling me to work on pretty much anything - sports to drama, children's shows to documentaries.

After 11 years at TVNZ I went freelancing in Auckland. 1997 saw a family move to an idyllic coastal village in Taranaki – the kiwi lifestyle dream. After 15 years freelancing I accepted the role of senior cameraman at Zieland Productions in New Plymouth.

In May 2009 I started 801 Films Ltd., working directly with a growing New Zealand and international client base. These direct relationships with my clients allow for better flexibility. Based in New Plymouth, I have easy access to any location in New Zealand and overseas.
